If something we have done has fallen short, we want to hear about it. Complaints tell us where our work needs to improve, and we would rather know than not know.

You can complain to us about the delivery of a programme or piece of work, the behaviour of anyone working for or with us, how we have communicated with you, or a decision we have made.
Concerns about someone's safety or wellbeing are handled differently, under our safeguarding arrangements rather than as a complaint.
You can complain by email to info@digitalyou.org.uk, by phone on 0191 716 9565, in writing to our registered office, or through a partner organisation if you would rather not come to us directly.
It helps us if you can tell us what happened, roughly when, and what you would like us to do about it. If writing it down is difficult, phone us and we will take the details.
Depending on what we find, that might be an explanation, an apology, a change to how we do something, or a change to the service itself. We will tell you which, and why.
Tell us, and the Director will review the complaint again and respond to you directly.
If the work in question was commissioned or funded by another organisation, you can also raise it with them, and we will cooperate with any review they carry out.
There is no external ombudsman for a Community Interest Company. If your complaint is about how the company itself is being run rather than about a piece of work, you can contact the Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies.
We keep a record of complaints, what we did about them and how they ended, so we can spot patterns and fix the causes rather than the symptoms.
